Report: Bills to have pre-draft visit with Jonathan Greenard

Buffalo Bills have pre-draft visit with Florida DE Jonathan Greenard, according to report.

The Bills are showing some big interest in edge defender Jonathan Greenard. After telling reporters he met with the Bills at the 2020 NFL Scouting Combine a few weeks back, he’s reportedly also going to have a pre-draft visit with the team, according to The Draft Wire.

The Florida product is a potential Day 2 or early Day 3 pick at the 2020 NFL Draft. He lined up both as a linebacker and with his hand in the dirt in college and would likely be in that role with the Bills.

Greenard was a first-team, All-SEC selection, notching a team-high 15.5 tackles for loss and 9.5 sacks in 12 starts, while also posting 52 total tackles, an interception, four pass breakups, and three forced fumbles. He also took part in this year’s Senior Bowl.

After a wrist injury in 2018, he transferred from Louisville to Florida. NFL.com described the prospect as a “worker bee” in terms of his effort. Pro Football Focus does say he struggles to get around the edge on offensive tackles at times, though.

Per the report, Greenard is also slated to visit or have a private workout with the Texans and Jets.
