The Buffalo Bills have been connected to Oklahoma linebacker Brian Asamoah prior to the upcoming 2022 NFL draft. According to Syracuse.com, the Bills held a private workout with Asamoah in recent weeks:

Asamoah is projected to be a Day 2 selection. The most intriguing part about Asamoah is his position.
At linebacker, the Bills have two starters solidified in Matt Milano and Tremaine Edmunds. Those are the only starting linebacker spots on Buffalo’s nickel-based defense.
However, Asamoah is a very gifted athlete. The Draft Network says he can “see early playing time in nickel packages in the NFL.”
That type of unique athlete might be welcomed in Sean McDermott’s defense. The Bills do have cornerback Taron Johnson in the slot, but if a bigger option is needed, the 6-foot, 226 pound Asamoah is a good alternative.
In addition, the Bills did lose AJ Klein earlier this offseason. Buffalo is in the market for a solid player to backup both Edmubds and Milano and Asamoah, who is called a “sideline-to-sideline” defender by NFL.com, could fit that bill.
