Report: Bills had pre-draft visit with WR Tank Dell

Report: #Bills have pre-draft visit with WR Tank Dell:

Houston wide receiver Nathaniel “Tank” Dell is on the Buffalo Bills’ radar ahead of the 2023 NFL draft.

According to The Draft Network, the Bills had a pre-draft, top-30 visit with Dell:

A 5-foot-8 target, Dell makes up for his size with a versatile skill set with game-breaking ability. He also produced at a high level at the University of Houston.

Dell had back-to-back seasons over 1,300 receiving yards in college. In 2022 alone, Dell had 1,398 yards on 109 catches with 17 touchdowns.

Truthfully, it’s Dell’s size that causes some concerns. He clocks in only at 165 pounds and he’ll certainly have to add to that in the NFL. But if Dell does, the Bills could be targeting a player that can break  a game wide open on one catch.

While that frame could keep Dell playing out of the slot most of the time, he has an ability to move around an offense and can lineup on the outside.

While not often tossed in with the top receiver prospects ahead of this year’s draft, Dell still should be taken fairly early. Both The Draft Network and Pro Football Focus predict Dell as a Day 2 selection.

NFL teams can only hold a limited number of pre-draft visits with prospects. Because of that, the BIlls meeting with Dell indicates a level of real interest in him.
