The Buffalo Bills and NFL might feel like they’re exempt from certain laws. But they’re not, especially during a time of a global crisis.
Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, NFL personnel has been told by the league to stay away from team facilities. That means the Bills and rest of the teams around the country are working remotely like the rest of us.
But there’s a little bit of optimism being shown this week. According to the Buffalo News, a Bills spokesperson said a “very limited” number of people are now at least allowed inside the team facility. The western New York region entered phase two of the state “reopening” on Tuesday.
However, the current league policy says that coaches will not be apart of any early entry.
The NFL said in May that reopening protocols allow no more than 50 percent of team staff, maxing out at 75 people, can be in team faculties at a time. In regard to players, only those rehabbing injuries are allowed at team facilities early.
