Report: Badgers safety Travian Blaylock tore his ACL

Report: Wisconsin’s projected starting safety tore his ACL:

According to a report from Jessie Temple of The Athletic, Badgers starting safety Travian Blaylock tore his right ACL during spring football practice back in April.

Entering his fifth year with the program, Blaylock was in position to earn the starting spot next to John Torchio following the departures of last season’s starting safety tandem Collin Wilder and Scott Nelson.

According to PFF, the 5-foot-11, 205-pound safety appeared in 13 games and registered 20 tackles in 140 total defensive snaps.

Muskego, Wisconsin native Hunter Wohler is expected to assume Blaylock’s starting spot with the first-team defense next to Torchio as the Badgers head into fall camp.
