Last week, SEC presidents and chancellors all voted to allow voluntary in-person athletic activities on campus beginning on June 8.

This also comes as teams have been back on campus after the NCAA voted to allow athletes in football, men’s basketball and women’s basketball to resume voluntary on-campus workouts, beginning June 1.

The vote to resume on-campus team activities lifts a prohibition that has been in place since March, when the coronavirus began to take the United States by storm resulting in the cancellation of the SEC/NCAA tournaments as well as spring sports and spring semesters.
