The game of recruiting is fluid in the world of college football, and just because a certain player is committed to one school doesn’t always mean that he isn’t still assessing his options elsewhere.
That’s why we get flips in recruiting all the time. The Oregon Ducks are as likely as anyone to “flip” a recruit late in the game and get their letter of intent over the team that previously held their commitment. We saw this a number of times last year, with guys like QB Austin Novosad, RB Jordan James, RB Jayden Limar, and CB Daylen Austin. It’s simply part of the game.
A new report came out on Saturday morning that the Penn State Nittany Lions are working to try and flip a current Oregon commit. 4-star wide receiver Tyseer Denmark is reportedly on an official visit to Penn State this weekend, according to On3’s Ryan Snyder.
Denmark was one of the early commits in Oregon’s top-10 ranked 2024 class, and he stands as one of the highest-rated prospects in the class, ranked by 247Sports as the No. 227 overall player, and No. 33 WR in the class.
The Ducks also have commitments from 4-star WR Jordan Anderson, 4-star WR Dillon Gresham, and 3-star WR Jack Ressler in the class of 2024 as well.
