Reggie Bush predicts that ‘Texas will beat Oklahoma’

During the halftime of the Oklahoma and Kansas State game, Fox analyst Reggie Bush made a bold claim that Texas will win.

During the halftime show of the Kansas State and Oklahoma football game on Fox, the team of analysts discussed Texas and OU. The two teams are set to face off in the Cotton Bowl two weeks from Saturday. With how Spencer Rattler looked in the first half with two interceptions, they discussed if the Texas Longhorns could beat the Sooners when they meet up in Dallas.

Brady Quinn was a bit more on the side of prove it to me. The Longhorns have historically stumbled in games that they shouldn’t. That has been on display over the last several years. Last season the loss to Texas Christian was one of those games.

Urban Meyer was positive about the Texas Longhorns team due to the hire of Chris Ash. Meyer has spoken highly of Ash at every opportunity, even going as far as to call him the best assistant/coordinator hire in all of college football. He was Meyer’s right hand man and defensive coordinator when they won a National Championship at Ohio State.

Reggie Bush discussed the Longhorns and his focus was on senior quarterback Sam Ehlinger. Bush mentioned Ehlinger going through his progressions and finding his receivers to make this offense more potent. He even had a bold claim with the game just 14 days away.

On Oct. 10, fans will find out a lot about both teams. Head coach Tom Herman is looking to even his regular season record against the Sooners with a 1-2 record as it sits now. The young gun Spencer Rattler and the experienced gunslinger Sam Ehlinger look to get the leg up on their Heisman campaigns.
