Based on ticket prices, Sunday’s game between the Washington Redskins and Detroit Lions isn’t exactly anticipated.
Those Redskins have had plenty of problems with attendance over the last few seasons and it looks like Sunday will be another stinker in this department.
According to Yahoo Sports’ Shalise Manza Young, tickets are going for as low as $12. Even closer seats sit in the $50 range.
Who can blame the fans? The Redskins are 1-9. The visiting Lions are 3-6-1 and starting quarterback Matthew Stafford is too hurt to play.
Speaking of quarterbacks, Redskins rookie passer Dwayne Haskins will get another start.
It seems while that is exciting for the future, it doesn’t mean much right now and Redskins fans aren’t thrilled to go sit in cold temperatures near a holiday for what amounts to a meaningless game.
