Redskins reach agreement to bring back DL Caleb Brantley

Brantley has struggled to stay on the field for the Redskins over the last two years, but Washington is bringing him back this offseason.

The Washington Redskins have made another signing that will help their depth on the defensive front for the 2020 season, bringing back DL Caleb Brantley.

After being drafted by the Cleveland Browns in 2017, the Redskins signed Brantley in 2018, though he has played in just eight games over the past two seasons in Washington. In 2019, Brantley was placed on the injured reserve with an injury that saw him miss the bulk of the season.

However, the Redskins must see something they like from him, as they will choose to keep him around for the near future under new coach Ron River and defensive coordinator Jack Del-Rio.
