Although the Irish lost a very good prospect in defensive end Darren Agu, it seems like he knew where he wanted to ultimately end up. It took just three days for the Georgian to announce his next school, Vanderbilt.

It seems like it’s a bit odd that Agu would commit to Clark Lea’s former school, the commit to his current school, Vandy. It’s not as if the Commodore’s offered him recently, that happened back in February of this year.

Did the depth chart scare him off? Was it something else? Who really knows at this point in time but what we do know is that Agu won’t be returning to the Irish 2022 recruiting class.

The Irish now can move on to their other targets, although it would have been nice to see Agu in Blue and Gold.
