Receivers drafted by the Bucs in the fifth round haven’t fared so well

Tyler Johnson becomes just the fourth wide receiver ever taken by the Bucs in the fifth round. See how the other receivers fared.

2015: WR Kenny Bell (No. 162)

Jake Roth-USA TODAY Sports

Bell was selected out of the University of Nebraska, where he had a solid senior season in 2014, finishing with 788 yards and six touchdowns. He was taken in the same draft as Jameis Winston, but unlike the former Heisman Trophy winner, Bell never played a single down for the Bucs. He injured his hamstring in the 2015 preseason and was placed on the injured reserve list. The following year, he was part of the team’s final roster cuts.
