Brackins was taken out of Pearl River Community College, and had two receptions in a preseason game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. But, Brackins failed to make the final roster heading into the 2005 season. He re-signed with the Buccaneers the following offseason and entered training camp with the team but was once again cut. He currently plays for the Jacksonville Sharks of the National Arena League (NAL).
