After a long recruitment, Michigan got its man in West Bloomfield (MI) four-star running back Donovan Edwards.
Rated the No. 29 overall recruit in 2021 according to 247Sports’ proprietary rankings, Edwards had his pick of anywhere he wanted to go in the country. In fact, it was no slam dunk that he would play for the hometown team at all.
But persistence paid off for Michigan football and Edwards will wear a winged helmet after all.
