Reactions as LSU falls 45-24 to Florida State in season opener on Sunday night

It was not the start to the season Tigers fans hoped for on Sunday night.

LSU’s 2023 season began on a sour note on Sunday night in Orlando.

Despite some sloppy play in the first half against No. 8 Florida State, the No. 5 Tigers were absolutely dominated in the second half as they were outscored 31-7 in a 45-24 loss.

The Tigers couldn’t get much of a rushing attack going outside of [autotag]Jayden Daniels[/autotag], who was productive but inefficient in the passing game and threw a costly interception when the game was still in reach in the fourth quarter.

LSU’s defense slowed down the run, but it couldn’t stop Jordan Travis and FSU’s receivers, which had a big night against a new-look Tigers secondary.

With a disappointing Game 1 now in the books, here’s how the internet reacted to LSU’s loss.
