Ravens WR Zay Flowers discusses his interactions with Baltimore before 2023 draft

Ravens first round draft pick Zay Flowers shared what his interactions with the team were like before the draft

The Baltimore Ravens had Boston College wide receiver Zay Flowers in for a pre-draft visit on April 17th, and it must’ve gone well. The Ravens ended up drafting Flowers at No. 22 overall, and many believe the Ravens made a fantastic selection in the first round.

Flowers was asked if he had any interactions with the Ravens and if he saw himself having a chance to be a Raven at No. 22. He said that Baltimore was probably his “best visit” and “favorite visit”, which has it seem like there was a real feeling that he’d end up with the Ravens.

“That was probably my best visit; that was probably my favorite visit. I knew if I reached [pick] 22, I had a feeling they were going to pick me. So, it worked out perfect. [I’m] ready to get to work; ready to get some wins; ready to go play with Lamar [Jackson]; ready to go play with ‘O’ [Odell Beckham Jr.]; ready to go build this receiving corps all the way up.”
