The Baltimore Ravens shook up their coaching staff over the course of the 2023 offseason, making many changes both with additions, subtractions and re-assignments. One of the moves that the team made was re-assigning now-former wide receivers coach Tee Martin to quarterbacks coach, hiring Greg Lewis to take over the receiving corps in the process.

Lewis spoke to the media following one of Baltimore’s voluntary organized team activity practices, and was asked about wide receiver Devin Duvernay. Lewis praised Duvernay as he gave his first impressions, calling him a “true pro” while talking about his professional approach and playmaking ability.

“[Devin Duvernay is] a true pro. [He’s] just coming out to work every day, getting opportunities and making the most of the opportunities that he’s getting. But the big thing that stood out was just his professionalism in the meetings, on the practice field [and] whenever needed. He’s been a true pro, and I love that about him. And then, obviously, at the end of the day, we all want guys who are going to make plays, and you saw it today. He’s getting an opportunity, and he’s making some plays out there, and that’s always a positive, because that’s what we’re going to be graded on at the end of the day.”
