In what is their final home game of the 2020 NFL season, the Baltimore Ravens will look to defeat the New York Giants. But they’ll have to do it without two starting cornerbacks and some depth pieces, after releasing the list of inactive players for Week 16.
Both Jimmy Smith and Marcus Peters are out for this game. While Smith was ruled out on the final injury report, there seemed to be some hope Peters could return to action this week after just barely getting sidelined last week with an injury. Marlon Humphrey will continue to start and Anthony Averett will likely get a lot of playing time opposite him.
Running back Mark Ingram is a healthy scratch once again, following in the footsteps of last week. J.K. Dobbins and Gus Edwards have looked like the better backs this season, so it shouldn’t impact today’s game. But with Baltimore maybe having an eye toward the playoffs, Ingram could be some fresh legs if the Ravens can earn a seat at the table.
