The Baltimore Ravens will take on the Dallas Cowboys tonight, with much of their roster back from the Reserve/COVID-19 list. While it’s not everyone and those that have returned aren’t a lock to play much, if at all, tonight, a lot of the anxiety has been washed away.
The Ravens placed a total of 23 players on the Reserve/COVID-19 list between Nov. 23 and Dec. 2 when they played the Pittsburgh Steelers. That included star players like quarterback Lamar Jackson, defensive end Calais Campbell, and tight end Mark Andrews. Baltimore now only has six players on the Reserve/COVID-19 list, seeing a near return to normal for the banged-up and ailing Ravens.
But with injuries to cornerbacks Jimmy Smith and Tramon Williams, the Ravens will be a little light in the secondary, needing to rely on the likes of Pierre Desir and Anthony Averett to fill the voids.
