The Baltimore Ravens control their own playoff fate, needing to beat the Cincinnati Bengals to close out the regular season and guarantee themselves a postseason berth. But they’ll have to accomplish that goal without some starters once again, seeing several players be inactive due to injuries.
Defensive starters Yannick Ngakoue and Jimmy Smith will be sitting this one out, as will offensive starters like Patrick Mekari and Willie Snead. Though it’ll be a good opportunity for some reserve players to get meaningful snaps before heading into the playoffs, the team seems to be going backward in regards to their health.
On the positive side, players like Gus Edwards, D.J. Fluker, Marlon Humphrey, and Marcus Peters were also seen on the injury reports this week and were listed as questionable. It’s a positive sign those guys will play, especially Peters, who has missed the last two games with an injury.
