Ravens to sit QB Lamar Jackson for preseason opener vs. Eagles

The Baltimore Ravens will sit Lamar Jackson and other key starters for the preseason opener against the Philadelphia #Eagles on Saturday night

The Ravens are currently riding a 23-game preseason win streak, and if that historic streak is to continue, they’ll accomplish the goal without key starters and contributors.

Baltimore head coach John Harbaugh has confirmed that star quarterback Lamar Jackson won’t play, along with other critical starters.

Philadelphia head coach Nick Sirianni was non-committal on his starters or critical contributors playing, and Harbaugh’s decision may have made it that much easier.

The Eagles put a lot of stock into joint practices and have three sessions with the Browns and Colts over the next two weeks.
