Ravens TE Mark Andrews has stellar performance in 2022 NFL Pro Bowl

Ravens tight end Mark Andrews put on an incredible performance in the 2022 NFL Pro Bowl

Baltimore Ravens tight end Mark Andrews was selected to the Pro Bowl for the second time in his NFL career. He didn’t disappoint in the 2022 festivities, putting on an incredible performance.

Andrews notched two touchdowns and led all pass catchers with 82 yards receiving. The two-time Pro Bowler also hauled in five of his six targets.

Andrews’ first touchdown catch came early in the first quarter on a 15-yard pass by Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert. Herbert threw a pass between multiple defenders to find Andrews in the back of the end zone.

The second touchdown of the tight end’s day also came from Herbert. Nearing the end of the second quarter, Herbert found Andrews in the corner of the end zone to give the AFC a 28-21 lead.

While Andrews arguably had the best performance on Sunday, it was Herbert who won offensive MVP. Even though Herbert threw both of his touchdown passes to Andrews, he also finished the day with an interception and only had 98 yards passing.

Andrews ended the 2021 season with 1,361 receiving yards and nine touchdowns. He also broke the record for most receptions in a single season by a pass catcher in franchise history with 107.
