Congratulations to the Baltimore Ravens rookie class. Without even taking a professional snap, they have already accomplished something.

The Ravens rookies reported to training camp on Saturday, July 13th, as the first players for any team in the National Football League.

The Ravens freshman class has officially started football season. For everyone counting down the days until the start of the 2024 NFL season, this is a landmark day.

The arrival of the Ravens rookies created great excitement on social media because it notified us that football season would soon be here. Below are three examples of the happy sentiment we saw expressed among football fans.

Baltimore started training camp earlier than everyone else in the league this season, with veterans reporting one week from today on July 20.

The Ravens don’t have the earliest veteran reporting date, however. That honor belongs to the Houston Texans, who will report to commence camp on July 17.

The Chicago Bears are next, with their veterans reporting two days later on July 19. The Texans and Bears will face each other in the first preseason contest 2024, the Hall of Fame Game in Canton, on August 1st.
