Ravens release WR Miles Boykin

The Ravens have released wide receiver Miles Boykin

The Baltimore Ravens have had a busy offseason, signing multiple outside free agents, bringing back some of their own, and seeing others leave for other opportunities. With some of the contracts they’ve handed out they now have to create more cap space.

On Monday, it was announced by the team that the team released wide receiver Miles Boykin, clearing around $2.5 million in cap space. The wideout out of Notre Dame never quite developed into a player that the Baltimore envisioned him becoming when they took him in the third round of the 2019 draft.

After being drafted at No. 76 overall in 2019,  Boykin played in a total of 40 games as a member of the Ravens.  His best season came in 2020, when he caught 19 receptions for 266 receiving yards and four touchdowns.  In his three years in Baltimore, Boykin had a total of 33 receptions for 470 yards and seven touchdowns.
