The Baltimore Ravens have seen leadership come in many shapes and forms over the course of their franchise history. Players such as Ray Lewis, Ed Reed and many more come to mind, with plenty of others having had made an imprint on the organization from a leadership perspective.

Following practice at Baltimore’s organized team activities, Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson talked about being more of a vocal leader on the field and in the locker room. He mentioned things about leading by example, while also doubling down on the fact that he wants to use his voice more in a leadership role moving foward.

“I feel like just being you. At the end of the day, guys just want to see you being you and [being] true to yourself and true to them, as well. And I’ll just say, I’m going to try to be more of a vocal leader, because Coach [Harbaugh] was like, ‘You need to start speaking more.’ I just try to lead by example, but I’ll try to be more of a vocal leader, if anything.”
