Ravens QB coach James Urban discusses team’s improvements on OL

Ravens quarterback coach James Urban discussed how the improvements on the offensive line will help quarterback Lamar Jackson

The Baltimore Ravens addressed their offensive line in a big way during the 2022 offseason. After seeing so many injuries at the position as well as shuffling the unit around quite a bit, they’ve added talented depth in multiple key areas along their front.

When Baltimore quarterback coach James Urban was asked about if the improvements on the offensive line will help quarterback Lamar Jackson develop in a better way, he said that he hopes so, talking about how the team is very confident in what’s going on with the unit up front.

“Yes, we’ll find out. We’re hopeful, obviously. [We’ve] done an unbelievable job of addressing a situation and putting us in a real good position. We feel really good about what’s happening up front.”

The Ravens added tackles Morgan Moses and Daniel Faalele as well as center Tyler Linderbaum to a unit that is expected to bounce back in a big way, with what many hope will be the return of offensive tackle Ronnie Stanley, the steady play of right guard Kevin Zeitler and more. It is massively important that Baltimore can protect Jackson, and the team seems to have made it a point to build a fortress around their quarterback that can be impenetrable when healthy.
