The Cleveland Browns are not the only AFC North team that has dealt with a lot of injuries this year. Their Week 12 foe, the Baltimore Ravens, have had injury upon injury beset the team starting in training camp and continuing throughout the season.
While Lamar Jackson returned to practice on Wednesday, a long list of Ravens players did not practice or were limited. With all their many players lost for the season, depth could be a huge concern for their matchup with the Browns this week.
Did Not Practice
- CB Anthony Averett
- WR Miles Boykin
- DE Calais Campbell
- LB Justin Houston (rest)
- OL Patrick Mekari
- OL Cedric Ogbuehi
- FB Patrick Ricard
- CB Jimmy Smith
- CB Chis Westry
- CB Tavon Young
Limited Participation
- WR Marquise Brown
- LB Josh Bynes
- WR Devin Duvernay
- DT Brandon Williams
As the week goes on, it is likely that Baltimore has more and more of these players as active participants in practice but the sheer volume of players missing practice is interesting.
The Ravens have been surviving games recently more than winning them. Despite their AFC North-leading 7-3 record, the Ravens have struggled with Chicago and Minnesota since their bye week and lost to Miami. The Browns barely beating Detroit last week doesn’t build confidence on their side either.
