Ravens hire Georgia’s Todd Monken as offensive coordinator

Georgia’s Todd Monken interviewed to be the Bucs’ offensive coordinator, but he’ll be taking the same job with the Ravens instead

Another potential candidate for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ offensive coordinator position is headed elsewhere.

Georgia offensive coordinator Todd Monken is leaving the two-time national champions to return to the NFL, but for the same position with the Baltimore Ravens instead of the Bucs.

Monken spent three seasons as Tampa Bay’s offensive coordinator under then-head coach Dirk Koetter, and will now captain an offense that expects to have Lamar Jackson back at quarterback, after the Ravens placed the franchise tag on the superstar playmaker.

The Bucs are still looking for a replacement for Byron Leftwich, who was fired after a disappointing 2022 season.
