The Baltimore Ravens are gearing up to take on the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 2 of the 2021 season. Baltimore has dealt with a rather lengthy list of injuries which has made them shuffle around their roster quite a bit over the last few weeks.
On Saturday, the Ravens announced that they had promoted two players from their practice squad to the active roster in offensive tackle Andre Smith and cornerback Kevon Seymour, both who could play key roles as depth pieces at positions that need a few more healthy bodies.
Ravens practice squad elevations are OT Andre Smith and CB Kevon Seymour. Neither a surprise given team’s injury situation at OT and CB. Ravens don’t make any additions to 53-man roster so they’ll have 5 inactives tomorrow night.

Smith and Seymour were both recently signed to the team’s practice squad. Smith has a lot of experience in Baltimore’s system, being around the team since 2019. Seymour signed a few days ago, and will be a healthy cornerback in a room that has lost Marcus Peters and Chris Westry recently.
