The Baltimore Ravens have plenty of young players in their secondary who will be key to the success of the team’s 2024 defense. Two of those players are cornerback Nate Wiggins and safety Kyle Hamilton, both of whom were recent first-round picks of the team over the last few years.
When asked about Hamilton, Wiggins praised the third-year safety’s leadership in a big way. He mentioned how Hamilton knows the whole defense, and the rookie can ask him questions to point him in the right direction.
“[Kyle Hamilton] brings a lot of leadership to the room. [With him] just being there. He knows the whole defense. I ask him questions, and he just put me in [to] where I need to be.”
Hamilton is expected to take on a much bigger leadership role on Baltimore’s defense this season, including mentoring the younger players on the team. He appears ready and poised to do just that and let his play on the field continue to speak for itself.
