Cornerback Marlon Humphrey has been an integral part of the Baltimore Ravens defense since joining the team in 2017. He has taken his game to the next level in the NFL, both on the field and in social media.
His knowledge of major 20th-century events isn’t so impressive, though. The Ravens’ social media team took to Twitter on Friday to revisit some of the cornerback’s posts that revealed him to be less than a bona fide history buff.

Clearly, Humphrey didn’t focus much on his history classes during his time in Tuscaloosa. Fans will have to decide whether it was more egregious for him to not connect Edgar Allan Poe’s “The Raven” to the team, or his previous belief that the sinking of the Titanic was simply a popular film with no basis in reality.
Someone should tell Humphrey that he was right about one thing: “Rocky” is based on the life of heavyweight fighter Chuck Wepner.
