Ravens CB Marcus Peters fined for spitting at Jarvis Landry

No flag was thrown during the game but Peters got fined heavily for spitting at Landry

Baltimore Ravens cornerback Marcus Peters was fined $12,500 for an unsportsmanlike conduct situation in the Monday Night Football matchup with the Cleveland Browns. Peters intentionally spit at Browns wide receiver Jarvis Landry after a play during Baltimore’s win over Cleveland.

There was no penalty thrown during the game, but savvy viewers picked up on it and flooded social media with video captured of Peters letting one fly at Landry as the Browns wideout walked away from him.

The Ravens had insisted that Peters did not spit and then changed course to try and claim it was not directed at Landry intentionally, but the NFL sees it otherwise.
