Ravens believe there’s an outside shot Mark Andrews could return this season after suffering a cracked fibula

After he exited the Baltimore Ravens’ 38-20 win over Cincinnati in Week 11 with a cracked fibula, the initial thought was that Pro Bowl tight end Mark Andrews would miss the remainder of the season.

Now, after more tests and a potential second opinion, the Ravens are hopeful that Andrews could return to the field if the team advances deep into the playoffs.

Andrews had a pair of catches for 23 yards on the opening drive against the Bengals but was forced to exit the game before Gus Edwards scored the first of his two rushing touchdowns on the night.

Andrews is Lamar Jackson’s favorite target and had recorded 45 receptions for 544 yards and six touchdowns before the injury.
