The Baltimore Ravens are taking on the Detroit Lions in Week 3 of the 2021 season. Baltimore is locked in as the heavy favorite to win, but after coming off of a very emotional win in Week 2 against the Kansas City Chiefs, they can’t underestimate Detroit, as the Lions have talent on both sides of the ball.
Before Sunday’s game, the Ravens announced their inactives for the contest. With not 53 players on their roster currently as well as having multiple players on the Reserve/COVID-19 list, the list only contains three players in offensive tackle Ronnie Stanley, defensive lineman Derek Wolfe and safety Ar’Darius Washington.

In Stanley’s absence, Alejandro Villanueva will stay at left tackle while versatile lineman Patrick Mekari will play on the right side at right tackle. Baltimore is very thin on the defensive line after placing four of the members of their front seven on the Reserve/COVID-19 list, and Wolfe is another player missing from their defensive front as he will miss his third straight game with hip/back issues.
In terms of players who are active, cornerback Jimmy Smith will make his 2021 season debut after injuring his ankle during one of the first days of training camp. Wide receiver Marquise Brown (ankle) will also play, as will safety DeShon Elliott (concussion).
