Ravens announce inactives for Week 12 matchup vs. Browns

The Ravens announced their inactives for their Week 12 matchup with the Browns

The Baltimore Ravens are set to take on the Cleveland Browns in a Week 12 divisional matchup. Baltimore is 7-3 on the 2021 season, while Cleveland comes into the game at 5-5.

Ahead of the game, the Ravens announced their inactives list, which features a few key players, including Baltimore defensive lineman Calais Campbell. Campbell had been battling a concussion and didn’t practice all week because of it.

Campbell’s absence means that the defense needs to step up with Kareem Hunt returning from injury for the Cleveland Browns and Nick Chubb being one of the best running backs in the entire league.

Cornerback Jimmy Smith is still out, which means that Brandon Stephens and Geno Stone need to handle the big tight ends that Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield likes to target.

It’s going to be a tough game, so the defensive line needs to play well and make sure they don’t allow big runs to happen or else it could get ugly.  The passing game of the Browns could be successful due to the strong running game and that will make play-action passes important for the secondary to contain.

Cleveland announced their inactives as well, although they are a much healthier team compared to the Ravens.
