Ravens activate Marlon Humphrey off Reserve/COVID-19 list

After the mandatory 10-day waiting period, the Baltimore Ravens brought back Marlon Humphrey from the Reserve/COVID-19 list.

The Baltimore Ravens have a full roster and cornerback depth chart once again. The team announced they’ve activated cornerback Marlon Humphrey off the Reserve/COVID-19 list on Wednesday.

Humphrey initially tested positive for COVID-19 last Monday, though the test was from before kickoff for Week 8’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Unfortunately, seven other players joined him on the Reserve/COVID-19 list after being deemed “high-risk close contact” with Humphrey. Those other seven players came off the list last week and were eligible to play in Sunday’s game against the Indianapolis Colts.

Now off the list himself, Humphrey can rejoin the rest of the team at the Under Armour Performance Center and practice this week ahead of Sunday’s game gainst the New England Patriots.

Humphrey is having another spectacular season, surpassing his Pro Bowl efforts from last year. In just seven games, Humphrey has notched an interception, a league-leading four forced fumbles, and 2.5 sacks. His play earned Humphrey a massive contract extension at the beginning of this season, locking up the young cornerback with the Ravens for at least the next five years.
