When it comes to the NBA take economy that is the media covering the league, it is not all that often you will find a mea culpa for an especially egregious take when reality proves it wildly wrong.

But in a sea of opinions offered a little more than a year ago about the perceived need to break up star Boston Celtics wings Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown, at least one of the offending parties has been big enough of a person to admit just how bad of a take that really was.
