Ahead of a Wednesday night matchup against the Portland Trail Blazers, the Toronto Raptors have recalled two-way rookie Oshae Brissett from the Raptors 905 in the G League, the team announced.

The move to bring Brissett up stems from a recent string of injuries.

Of course, Kyle Lowry suffered a fractured bone in his left thumb on Friday that will keep him out for at least two weeks while Serge Ibaka was diagnosed with a severe right ankle sprain that will sideline him indefinitely.

Additionally, OG Anunoby will not play on Wednesday after getting poked in the right eye on Monday.

Brissett will give the team some depth in the frontcourt for the foreseeable future. The undrafted forward from Syracuse joined the Raptors after a solid run in Summer League with the Los Angeles Clippers. He earned a two-way contract just before the season began.

He has not appeared in a game during the regular season yet with the Raptors but averaged 3.5 points in four preseason games. Brissett made his G League debut on Friday, recording 14 points and six rebounds in a loss for the Raptors 905.
