After a career performance, Philadelphia 76ers rookie Matisse Thybulle earned high praise from his teammates and even those devoted fans of the team.
Including rapper, and Pennsylvania native, Lil Dicky.
Thybulle recorded a career-high 20 points in a win over the Toronto Raptors on Sunday night as he shot 6-of-9 from the field, including 5-of-8 from 3-point range. He also added three assists, three steals, two rebounds and one block.
Teammate Tobias Harris called Thybulle an excellent rookie afterward while he also took to Instagram to issue his praise for Thybulle. Dicky joined in on the fun, adding that it’s “borderline impossible not to love” Thybulle.
Dicky has become a notable fan of the Sixers after attending several games over the years. He even took part in the team’s pre-game ceremonies last year during the NBA Playoffs against the Brooklyn Nets.
Meanwhile, Thybulle has been a fan favorite since joining the team given his likable personality and effort on the court. In 23 games, Thybulle is averaging 4.7 points, 1.5 steals and 1.3 assists.
