The Falcons answered a lot of questions with their first-round selection of USC wide receiver Drake London on Thursday night.
Many teams viewed London as the top receiver in the class, so Atlanta was justified in selecting the 6-4 wideout eighth overall. However, the Falcons aren’t the only ones benefiting from the drafting London. Rapper Drake cashed in on a $100k bet he made that on the USC standout to be the first wide receiver selected in the draft.

The rapper won a total of $225,000 when London’s name was called on Thursday night. London’s selection came two spots higher than the next receiver taken off the board, Ohio State’s Garrett Wilson, at pick No. 10 to the Jets.
Why did Drake bet on a WR named Drake to be drafted first? Because it’s about the most Drake thing the Canadian rapper has ever done.
