We have ranked the top five draft options for the Philadelphia 76ers.

No. 3 Jalen Smith Maryland

Tommy Gilligan-USA TODAY Sports

Smith is a guy who fits today’s NBA very nicely. Standing at 6-foot-10, he’s a guy who can finish in the paint and he can step out and make a 3-pointer as well. He averaged 15.5 points, 10.5 rebounds, 2.4 blocks while shooting 36.8% from deep as a sophomore for the Terrapins this season. He can be a really nice piece for this team either off the bench or potentially as a starter.

The Al Horford experiment has been a bit of a disaster. The fit on offense has just not been good and it’s only helped the team on defense. The Sixers are one of the elite defensive teams in the league with Horford and Joel Embiid, but the offense has just not been good and it has struggled. Smith can help on that end.
