Ranking top five prospective draft options for the Philadelphia 76ers

We have ranked the top five draft options for the Philadelphia 76ers.

No. 5 Nico Mannion Arizona

Stephen R. Sylvanie-USA TODAY Sports

Mannion’s weaknesses are there. He is listed at 6-foot-3 and 180 pounds and he is not the most athletic guy in the world. What he does have is a scorer’s mentality and he can get to the foul line as shown by his 4.2 attempts per game in college. The Sixers acquired a guy like that at the deadline in Alec Burks, but with Burks scheduled to be a free agent in the summer, taking a flier on a guy like Mannion isn’t the worst thing in the world.

In terms of his shot, he shot 32.7% from deep on the season as it was a bit up and down. He shot 47.1% from deep in November, 20.7% in December, 36.1% in January, 23.9% in February, and he was up to 41.2% in March. A lot of it is finding consistency within himself. [lawrence-related id=27852]
