Xavier’s Tyrique Jones averaged 14.0 points and 11.0 rebounds with 1.1 steals and 1.0 blocks per game. He pulled down 4.3 offensive rebounds per game and his offensive rebound percentage (17.1 percent) ranked Top 5 among high-major college basketball players. Jones also recorded 20 double-doubles, which ranked fourth-best among all NCAA players. However, he is effectively a non-shooter and is a bit undersized to play the five. Jones may have a future as a small-ball five in the NBA, though, which could make him worth a flier either in the second round or as an undrafted free agent.
