2. Derrick Coleman

From his first year in a Nets uniform, Coleman had an impact on the team, averaging a double-double (18.4 points and 10.3 rebounds) for the entire season.

Coleman averaged 20-plus points per game in three of his five seasons with with the Nets. The one time he was named an NBA All-Star came in his fourth year in New Jersey, which came after he’d been named Third Team All-NBA in 1993.

Coleman was also named Third Team All-NBA in 1994.

He helped the Nets reach the playoffs three times, but they never made it out of the first round. Coleman’s postseason averaged for the Nets: 24.7 points, 13 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 1.7 blocks and 1.2 steals per game.
