The Nets never experienced more success in the NBA than they did when Martin started at the four. He was an important piece on both the 2002 and 2003 Eastern Conference Finals-winning teams.

Although the Nets weren’t able to make it to the NBA Finals for a third consecutive time in 2004, Martin still had a standout year. In fact, it was the first and only time he was ever named an All-Star in his NBA career.
