Honorable Mentions

Maurice Cheeks (1978-1989)

Cheeks is the franchise’s all-time leader in assists and steals and he averaged 12.2 points and 7.3 assists while making four All-Star games in Philadelphia. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2018 due to his wizardry with the basketball.

Hal Greer (1958-1973)

Greer was a 10-time All-Star as he spent the majority of his career with the Sixers and he is the franchise’s all-time leading scorer. He averaged 19.2 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 4.0 assists throughout his career and he did that without the help of the 3-point line. He helped Wilt Chamberlain lead the Sixers to a title in 1967.
