You have to really dig into the annals of Sixers history to find anything on George King. He played for the Syracuse Nationals from 1951-56 and he helped seal the franchise’s title in 1955 when he made the go-ahead free-throw and then had a steal in the win over the Fort Wayne Pistons. He averaged 10.4 points and 4.7 assists.
