The calendar has turned to the month of August, which means the start of the NFL preseason and week 0 of college football will be here before you know it.
In Austin, there is a buzz surrounding the Texas Longhorns program that has reached a fever pitch. A new sheriff is in town and his name is Quinn Ewers. The one-time commit opted for the Ohio State Buckeyes and re-classified to join the team last season.

The new era of Texas football isn’t set to begin until Sept. 4 when they host Louisiana-Monroe at Darryl K. Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium.
