The Miami Dolphins are in the midst of their month of between OTAs and the start of training camp in late July when the team will reconvene in Miami Gardens.
Players, coaches and front office members are taking some of this time to rest up and enjoy the fruits of their labor, while still preparing for the start of the 2022 NFL season as it nears.
This is a great time for us to peruse the roster and assess the players that will likely be taking the field when Week 1 kicks off.
After looking at the Dolphins’ offensive starters, we’ll be ranking the projected defensive starters. While they will use different packages throughout the year, we’ll focus on nickel defense today, meaning five defensive backs, two linebackers and four defensive linemen/outside linebackers.
