Spring ball is but a few weeks away, and there we’ll see some position battles being sorted out before summer conditioning, fall camp, and the 2023 season. However, which position groups are more loaded and ready to take on the mantle than others?
The Wolverines will only be as strong as their weakest position, which this year is good news, because Michigan football is quite loaded at pretty much every position group. Personnel changes might impact the early going, but given the schedule, like last year, the maize and blue can weather quite a few storms as they figure out the best players at each position.
That said, here is how we rank the position groups against the others on the team.
